I started this blog for two reasons: 1) I have found over the years a void in honest styling advice for non plus-sized but extremely well-endowed women such as myself. Believe it or not, us buxom ladies can dress stylishly and sexy without popping out of every dress a la Christina Hendricks. Stylist, stop the madness and let a curvaceous woman take the reins on this one!
2) I love all things fashion, design, style and art...and I do mean all things. Although I have personalized my style to best fit my figure, my home, and my budget, my personal taste run the gamut. Like Donnie and Maria sing, I'm a little bit country, a little bit rock 'n roll...and urban, classic, sporty, bohemian and preppy. I like what I like, and the whole of it doesn't really fit one mold. So, there should be a bit of something for everyone here!
Most importantly, I am not a fashion or design professional, just a political media nerd with an itching for a creative outlet. All posts are just my opinions based on years of being a low-budget, beauty product obsessed, magazine-turn-blog junkie and design amateur.
Just like with my men, when I see something I like, I just know.
