How amazing are these pumps?  I mean, I am pretty much salivating while staring at them and writing this post.  Leopard and cobalt blue?  Perfection.  The price tag, however, makes me want to cry.  I can't even imagine spending that much money on a pair of shoes, even shoes this beautiful.  Okay, so maybe I can IMAGINE doing so...a girl can dream, right? 

p.s., My birthday is coming up in December if anyone wants to spoil me--I'll take these in a 6 1/2 pretty please!

My love for Tory Burch is undeniable, and although I have been a bit disappointed recently in the quality of a few purchases (and have a letter of complaint at the top of my to-do list), her designs are absolutely some of my very favorite from season to season.  And did you hear that there is a new Tory Burch store coming to Georgetown?  It will be a concept store for accessories only and scheduled to open next month.  Super excited! 

Anyway--Once again, she knocked it this fall with the Sammy Messenger.  Grey leather and gold detailing?  Yes, please!  This is now at the very top of my wish list.  Oh, if I only was a trust fund baby...

For some reason, I am so drawn to these booties.  They are, in a word, hot.  The price tag is not so friendly for me, even with the 20% off sale right now at Piperlime.  But oh, how I want them.  Will the 4 1/2 inch heel be comfortable?  Probably not.  Will burgundy booties be in next year or the year after?  Chances are, not so much.  Do I really care?  Not really.  When you know, you know, right?  I think they are the one! 

Now the real question is, think I can get them on a payment plan?

Currently Craving: Leopard Print Sweater Dress!

If you don't know C. Wonder yet, get in the know!  The store is filled with adorable clothes, accessories, purses, and they even do their own monogramming on certain items.  In my opinion, their best items are the fabulous home and decor items in stock--many perfect for a housewarming or hostess gift.  Typically, I've found their clothes a bit too preppy for me, but when I saw this dress in a new arrivals email last week, I just couldn't keep my eyes off of it.  I love a good sweater dress, and this will be a perfect addition to my winter wardrobe--sweater dress, black tights, and black knee high boots.  This would even be cute with booties and a trench coat in the the fall.  Here's hoping it is still available when my spending freeze ends!

Currently Craving: Game Day Dresses!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...college football kickoff week!  For a Southern girl, football is king, and there is not much more exciting than the start of a new college football season.  For me, it's the promise of a fresh start and new beginnings, and always a fun Fall full of tailgating, friends, watch parties, thrilling wins and (hopefully not) a bit of heartbreak too.

Sadly, I do not think I will be making it back to Arkansas this year for any football games.  But rest assured, I will be watching and Calling the Hogs from here in DC, all decked out in my Razorback Red.

Since football season starts off in the brutal August heat and (in a good year) ends in the cold winter month of January, a Southern girl's game day wardrobe usually sees both summer, fall and winter fashion.  It's like the first day of school...have to look your best for the first game of the season!  If I was planning on going back home for the Razorback game this Saturday, I would most likely be picking up one of these two dresses for these first few game days.  You want to be a bit casual yet stylish while tailgating and in the stadium, and since it's typically a very long day, comfort is key.
